Tijger
Tijger was taken home by Swieber. Swieber himself a alley cat came to join us in 1993. We feed him in our garden. Once in the evening it was raining so very fast, he was sitting in front of the gardendoor and looks like a soaked cat, we let him into the house and the next day we brought him to the vetinary for controll and medical examination. The vetinary thought he was about 4 years old. Ok, back to Tijger now, in the evening in August 1995 I called Swieber to enter the house, but he was lounging so much and suddenly Tijger disappear very cautious from the bush. I called him and I saw he was not castrated he was very frighten and he was lame. During a week we feed him. We left a message to Amivedi (a foundation for missing and founded animals) that a cat was walking around in our neighboorhood. Sometimes he came into the house but after eating his meal he wanted to go outside immediately. It was not possible to pet him he was so frighten. We were sure people had treated and kicked him. After weeks there was no reaction nobody was missing Tijger so we decided that the could live with us 4 or 5 cats it does not matter at all. In the first instance he only came in the house for eating but in the winter when it was getting colder he liked to be inside the house, but he was very alert and if he was frighten he wants to go out. Little by little he get his place with us, walking lame dissapeared too, we have been very patience and after years he becomes like he his now, a very lovely cuddlecat. In the evening he lays between us on the couch and purr like the best. He is now the “boss” at home, but how long…..???? Twister is very bussy to take this job from him.
