Nero

My dearest Nero died suddely on November 14th 2008. I miss him every day.

In November 2002 we picked up Nero. After Bjoetie was died we liked to have an other black cat (but not as a replacement of Bjoetie). By way of our daughter Babette we heard that there were 2 litters of black cats one litter was born in July and one litter was born in September. We made an appointment and 6 kittens were left, 3 of 2 months old and 3 of 4 months old. Nero was fascinated to Dick and so we went home with Nero. At home our cats were looking very surpised that there was walking around a little cat. Soon they were used to the situation. First Nero became friends with Sherry but after 3 weeks he died owing to his heartdiseas. Afterwards he became friends with Tijger. Nero became fear for the pet carrier because 3 of his friends went out alive and they came back dead. We always take our dead cats home to show the others that the cats were dead so they did not search for them anymore. Afterwards we brought them to the crematory Kollenweide. Nero is a really caddlecat, he likes it to sit down on my shoulder and have contact with his body and meanwhile give you many ‘kisses’. Nero is always be the dupe when the others wanted to be washed. He is a littlebit subordinate. We keep an eye on it because otherwise he will be jostle through the Ocicats.
